The idea emerged after Sweeney's 2024 Dr. Squatch bubble bath ad, where fans flooded social media with playful (and some obsessive) requests for her bathwater

Contrary to assumptions it was a brand gimmick, Sweeney explicitly stated at the "Echo Valley" premiere: "I pitched it."

The soap contains a "touch" or "splash" of Sweeney's actual bathwater collected during her Dr. Squatch ad shoot.

Named "Sydney's Bathwater Bliss," it's a medium-grit exfoliating bar featuring pine bark extract, shea butter, sand, and natural fragrances of pine, Douglas fir, and earthy moss.

Sweeney framed the soap as a humorous way to engage fans while promoting natural male hygiene.

Only 5,000 bars were produced. Sales began exclusively on Dr. Squatch's website on June 6, 2025, priced at ~$8 per bar.

Additionally, 100 bars were given away via a social media contest ending June 4

At her movie premiere (June 4, 2025), Sweeney dismissed haters with a shrug: "I think that it’s more fun to see everybody else talk about it."
